This Privacy Policy explains how QuoteCraft ("QuoteCraft," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, desktop and mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

1.1 Account information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, company name, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.

1.2 Business data

To provide the Service, we store the data you enter: customers, estimates, invoices, line items, and related business records. This data belongs to you and your company.

1.3 Payment information

If you connect Stripe or subscribe to a paid plan, payment card details are handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe) and are never stored on QuoteCraft's own servers.

1.4 Usage & device data

We collect basic technical information — app version, operating system, and general usage patterns — to diagnose problems and improve the Service.

2. How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send transactional communications (e.g. invoice delivery, password resets, security alerts)
• To provide customer support
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties, and we do not use your business data to train AI models without your explicit consent.

3. How we share information

We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g. cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery), under confidentiality obligations
• Integrations you configure — e.g. Stripe, or third-party tools you connect via API keys or webhooks

We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed credentials, role-based access controls, and strict isolation between company accounts (multi-tenant data separation). No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we retain data for a limited period in case you wish to reactivate, after which it is deleted in accordance with our data retention schedule, except where retention is required by law.
